Peter C. Dandalides, MD
Principal    

A health industry innovator, Peter Dandalides combines more than 20 years of international senior management business experience with an extensive clinical and teaching background.  He brings first-hand knowledge from all health care stakeholders:  providers, consumers, payers, and others, to help solve health-related challenges of the highest complexity.  Recent projects include corporate medical director support for WORKsiteRx’s on-site clinics.  The latter leverages his development of a robust, outcomes based, collaborative service delivery model, ensures measurable success of all health care stakeholders, and fully aligns with current, value-based reimbursement models. 

Prior to his work with Progressive Healthcare, Peter led the Ingenix health and productivity consulting practices for employer clients.  Projects included strategic planning related to annual benefit plan performance evaluations, along with work on custom health and lost-time initiatives to improve quality, service delivery, and cost outcomes.  His background also includes:  leading clinical physician and nurse consultant teams at WellPoint (Anthem National Accounts);  first-hand clinical research and infection control work with the UK’s National Health Service;  serving as SHPS Healthcare Services Division’s President and Chief Operating Officer;  running 13 primary care centers in central Florida;  serving on the hospital administration for a 600-bed, university affiliated community teaching hospital;  and practicing internal medicine and consultative infectious disease, while teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees, for 10 years.

Peter holds Bachelor of Science (microbiology) and MD degrees from The Ohio State University; completed postgraduate training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill;  and is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
